HOW TO USE SAFFRON

Select the Threads

Use the amount of saffron required for your recipe.
We recommend starting with a small amount and adjusting according to your preparation and desired intensity.

Infuse the Saffron

Place the saffron threads in a few spoonfuls of warm water, broth or milk, depending on your recipe.
Let them infuse for 10–15 minutes to allow the saffron to gradually release its colour and aroma.

Add the Infusion

Pour the saffron infusion into your preparation.
You may also add the saffron threads themselves to fully enjoy their presence in the dish.

Let the Saffron Shine

Avoid prolonged cooking or boiling. Adding the saffron towards the end of cooking helps preserve its delicate aromatic character.

HOW MUCH SAFFRON TO USE?

The amount depends on the dish, the number of servings and the desired intensity.
For 4 people, around 0.1 g of saffron can be used as a starting point for rice, risotto and similar dishes.
Our advice: start with a small amount and adjust gradually.
