From Afghanistan to Switzerland
Our story begins in Afghanistan, in the heart of Herat, a region known for producing exceptional saffron.
Saffron has always been more than just a spice in my family. It is part of our heritage, our traditions, and our memories. For generations, my family has been connected to spices and to the precious saffron of Herat.
In 2016, I left Afghanistan and moved to Switzerland. Although I started a new chapter of my life here, I never forgot where I came from or the traditions I grew up with.
Over the years, an idea began to take shape: to bring a little piece of Afghanistan to Switzerland and share the authentic saffron of Herat with people who appreciate quality, tradition, and genuine stories.
In July 2026, I decided to turn this idea into reality and launch our online shop.
Our goal is simple: to offer carefully selected Afghan saffron while sharing the story and heritage behind every thread.
For us, this is not simply a business. It is a way to keep our roots alive, build something meaningful in Switzerland, and introduce you to a product that is deeply connected to our family and our homeland.
